Tekken 7 has reportedly been announced by series director Katsuhiro Harada who announced the 7th installment of the long-running “King of Iron Fist” tournament game at an event in Madrid.
It is not known what systems the game will hit or whether it will be released in arcades first, but Tekken 6 was released for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PSP, as well as arcades.
According to Eurogamer Portugal, series director Katsuhiro Harada confirmed that development on Tekken 7 has already started. Not really that much of a surprise, seeing as how all the previous titles sold well.
It's possible that we'll see it in some form at next month's E3 although it may only be a trailer as Harada mentioned that it's still in the early stages of development.
